Another Not So Lonely Night in New York

Sue Tallon loves New York.

“We’re in SOHO for six weeks this spring imagining a bicoastal life for the future. Everything is possible.

The place has a mood here in the evenings, in SOHO. The stormy, breezy nights are the best: tropical and as unlike San Francisco as you can get; thunder and lighting and warm winds.

I walk miles each day and night here. Last night I spotted a building façade painted black with giant gestural white lines loosely written over it. The rain was just beginning to come down. I turned my flash on to illuminate the raindrops. The city makes art on its own, you just have to be there for it”.

I’ll be sharing a few snaps here and there along the way….. Keep the light on for me. – Sue Tallon

What’s all this?

MANHATTMAN is hosted by Norman Maslov, whose Agence Internationale, represents a small group of wonderful photographers. This blog showcases images from these artists along with scribes about music, films, food, gin martinis and hats. Pontifications from a native San Franciscan and his extended family and friends. So it goes.
